Mad Scientists Loose at
Sacred Heart
Twenty-five Sacred Heart students in first
through sixth grade are participating in an after school program
called Mad Science. For six weeks they will meet on Thursday
nights to participate in hands-on science investigations with
a mad scientist from Mad Science. The first week the students
investigated different forms of matter, built a marshmallow
molecule, moved particles from paperclips to a nickel, and
made a batch of Mad Science putty. Each week a new group of
activities is planned. Students are excited and looking forward
to the full spectrum of investigations.
