Social Studies:

Rome

We will continue our study of some of the earliest civilizations as we look at ancient Rome.

7th Grade

Social Studies:

We will look at reform movements in Kansas as students research information for a PowerPoint presentation.

Students will continue to cover several standards in their textbooks and powerpoint presentations.

4. (K) analyzes the impact of Kansas reformers on the nation.

8th Grade

Religion:

We will continue our study of social issues this week by examining the death penalty. Research will be conducted in the computer room.

Social Studies:

Students will cover several standards while preparing a powerpoint presentation on the impact of the end of slavery on African Americans.
