St. John Neumann

The St. John Neumann House was established August 17th 2007!

The first and current leaders of this house are Keith and Katelyn.

The House is currently making a symbol and a motto.

St. John Neumann's motto is...

"Passion of Christ strength me!"

As a boy he lived and grew up in Bohemia. St. John Neumann had know that he wanted to become a priest. When he asked the bishop of his country the bishop said no because they already have too many priests. St. John new that God wanted him to become a priest so he packed up his things said good bye to his Mom, Dad, and brother and headed for the US hoping that there he would be ordained. The bishop of New York gladly ordained him. He had Come into the county with one dollar in his pocket and the clothes on his back. His dream wasn’t the normal American dream.

St. John Neumann was made fun of all the time for his height. But he never complained or made fun of other people. He is a true role model. He was an extraordinary man. He died January 5th 1860 and was canonized in 1997.

We pray a prayer in the begin of a house meeting and at the end the prayer is....

Saint John Neumann, you helped organize Catholic education in the United States. Please watch over all Catholic schools and help them be a model of Christianity in their actions as well as their words. Amen.
