Meet Miss Brown 
Hello! My
name is Liz Brown and this is my very first year working at
Sacred Heart School. I received a Bachelor’s Degree and half
of my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the
University of Kansas. Go Jayhawks!
Although this
is my first year with my own classroom, I have had experience
working with children through coaching the Leawood Lightning
Swim Team, working at child care centers, volunteering in
elementary classrooms, student teaching, and fulfilling
several long-term substitute positions. I am so eager
not only to apply what I have learned to my own classroom, but
also to learn more as I continue throughout my first year of
teaching!
Currently I am
living near the Country Club Plaza in Westwood, Kansas. When
I am not teaching I enjoy reading, swimming, creating “arts &
crafts,” and traveling.
I hope that my
students and their parents will enjoy this year as much as I
will! I look forward to diving into a new year!

began this business last year and am currently taking a break
