It's been a great Peace week here at SHOJ! Thank you to everyone who participated in this anti-bullying celebration by wearing silly hats, socks, and slippers and coming in to school with an eagerness to be part of this community that stands up for each other and for what is right.
Also in December counseling department news, I will be presenting mandatory Virtus Empowering God's Children lessons about personal safety to grades 2-7 (K, 1, and 8 have already received their training). You will have the opportunity to have your student opt out of the lesson if you prefer. Please look for that form from your student's teacher or contact me directly.
