With over 100 years of experience at Sacred Heart (really??)—and 128 years in education—they are the backbone of our school. Their impact goes far beyond the classroom, supporting both students and teachers with a passion for service and a deep desire to see all students reach their potential. It is a beautiful and holy call that God has placed on their hearts.
Preparing minds for the future and souls for eternity means meeting students where they are—and this team does just that. They move seamlessly across grade levels, stepping in where needed to ensure every student gets what they need to succeed.

What does it really mean to form hearts and minds?
Today, Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Parish and School faculty and staff came together for formation led by Sebastian D’Amico from the Blessed Seelos Institute.
We dove deeper into virtue—reflecting on how we are created in the image of God and called to grow in His likeness. We explored virtue as ordered love and what it means to guide souls to love what they ought… especially what is transcendent.
Grateful for this time to refocus on our mission: preparing minds for the future and souls for eternity.

Our Middle School Team is truly amazing! With a combined 87 years of teaching experience, these dedicated educators bring passion, expertise, and heart to our classrooms each day.
Now in their fourth year teaching together, this team has built a strong culture of collaboration, meaningful relationships, and a shared commitment to our Catholic faith.
With 54 of those years spent at Sacred Heart, we are incredibly grateful for the lasting impact they’ve had—shaping minds for the future and souls for eternity.

Mr. Herzet and Mrs. Rockers attended the National Catholic Educators Association (NCEA) Annual Conference this week, learning alongside Catholic educators from across the country.
One resounding theme: the importance of connecting our Catholic faith and the teachings of the Church to the ongoing growth of our students. Their health of mind, body, and spirit must be integrated at every moment.
Grateful for this time to reflect, learn and plan for the future of Sacred Heart School.

There is just an extra added boost of energy in the school when the book fair is here. Thanks to Anna Kumru and Ashlee Tomasic for organizing this fundraiser that provides additional resources to our classrooms.
